Why is my TPMS beeping?
It means action is required! Your Flatmate is alerting you to a fast leak, high pressure, high temperature, or a low sensor battery.
How do I stop the alarm?
Once you safely pull over and assess the issue, pressing any button on the Flatmate display will mute the audible warning.
Why did a sensor drop off the screen?
This usually means a flat battery or severe radio interference; swapping the battery in your Flatmate sensor almost always fixes it instantly.
What is the "High-Temperature" alarm?
Tyres get hot before they pop. Flatmate alerts you if a tyre exceeds safe operating temps, usually indicating a stuck brake or failing bearing.
Why are my pressures higher when driving?
Friction creates heat, which expands the air. Flatmate accurately shows this real-time pressure increase so you don't over-deflate warm tyres.
The screen is blank, what do I do?
It has likely gone into sleep mode to save power. Tapping the dash or plugging your Flatmate into USB power will wake it right up.
Why is it reading 0 PSI?
The sensor may have been removed, or the battery is completely dead. Ensure your Flatmate sensor is screwed down tightly to press the valve pin.
How accurate is the TPMS alarm?
Flatmate systems are highly calibrated, triggering an instant alarm the second pressure drops outside your custom safety threshold.
Can window tint affect the signal?
Metallic window tints can occasionally reduce RF signals, but Flatmate’s strong receivers usually punch straight through standard factory tints.
